In July 2023, the Washington State Climate Office joined the UW Climate Impacts Group. Following two decades of close collaboration, this strategic decision marks a significant step towards a more unified approach to addressing climate-related challenges in our state and region. With this move, the State Climatologist is now administratively housed within EarthLab, an institute at the College of the Environment that is working across the University of Washington and connecting with communities to catalyze equitable and just action on climate change.

Over the years, WASCO has forged partnerships with many local, state, federal, University, and Tribal entities. We are always looking to build new relationships. Please contact us if you’re interested in collaborating.
